That Angelina Jolie. Every two years or so, from Lara Croft to Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow to Mr. & Mrs. Smith and now to Wanted, she feels the lure of the sidearm. Wanted looks like it could own, though it might also be a montage of free running, gun fights, and bullets firing around corners (that part’s definitely cool, at the very least), all edited with the finesse of a 160-amp arc welder. We’ll see it either way, just to hear the dulcet tones of Morgan Freeman. Here’s hoping he narrates. — Thomas Rooker White
