Listen: “No More Long Years”

There’s a song bouncing around in the back of our brains; something about, “All you need is drums to start a dance party.” Whoever sang it surely knows what they are talking about. But, what if you add a keyboard to the mix? Well, then you have Brooklyn’s furiously fun Matt and Kim. We caught an electrifying set by them at this past SXSW (at a parking garage, documented here), and came away solidly believing that they were the very best of the bunch. Needless to say, we’re wicked stoked that they’re playing Rock City. Seriously people, if you sleep on their set, you won’t know what the meaning of fun is. Forget listening to a song online; this is the one band of the festival that simply must be experienced live. Turn up the keys, turn up the drums, and turn up the awesome. Fuck it; just turn up and see them.
